Ok I'm blowing the whole lid on the stupid yandere dev suicide bait shit cause I'm tired of seeing it on my timeline. This is the last time I'm talking about it. (A big ass thread)

Let's look at this the way he talks about this. Yanderedev claims that when he said "ending a life" in here he meant it in the same way one says "ruining a life." It seems weird when ending a life usually means death, but we also have to remember that Yandere Dev is an-

antisocial weirdo. Now if that's all I had I wouldn't make this thread. Let's look at how the sentences are structured. Essentially he is saying here

"Your game is doing X to me
If my game did Y to someone I wouldn't do it."

If yandere dev wanted to guilt this person, why in gods name would Y be different than X here? If he accuses him of doing X and wanted to take a high moral stance by saying he would never do it, why the fuck would he talk about something completely different.

This would ONLY make sense if he previously talked about ending his life in the conversation but we have seen jack shit in the way of screenshots. Which is weird, because DrApeis talks about multiple screenshots of the conversation but we've only seen the one.

Now we know those screenshots were not leaked by Apeis himself but rather someone on his mod team. So that being the case, if Apeis showed his mod team multiple screenshots, why on earth would we have only seen one. The only plausible reason that could be is that this screenshot-

is supposed to be the smoking gun. Which means that any other screenshot shows virtually nothing. So until we see any proof otherwise, we can only assume that the only implication of a suicide was an off hand remark.

Now I am not calling Apeis or his mod team liars. It's very possible that they interpreted that off hand remark as suicide baiting and there was a genuine misunderstanding. And before anyone says "well he might not have wanted to show the screenshots cause of emotional reasons"-

remember that the screenshot we did see was already leaked by his mods (not him) without Apeis' feelings in mind since he did not want them getting out. They were already disregarding his feelings so why would they stop at one?

Now, it is totally possible that there is more to this story that we haven't seen that blows everything I said out of the water. But from what we have to go off now, at most we can assume beyond a reasonable doubt that there was a misunderstanding. Weird wording isnt suicide bait

Do I think suicide baiting is beyond Yanderedev? Maybe, maybe not. But whether or not he *would* do something like this is not indicative of whether he did in this instance. I think it's very possible that both yandere dev and Apeis are telling the truth here.

And before anyone accuses me of simping for yandere dev or whatever, I fucking hate the guy ok. If I saw genuine reason to hate him more I would take it, he is a terrible person. But just because he is a terrible person does not mean everything that is being said is true.

And listen, what he did here WAS really shitty. But suicide baiting is significantly more shitty than just trying to guilt someone out of abandoning a project.
