Civility, defined as "formal politeness and courtesy in behavior or speech," is a rhetorical smokescreen that has no place in political discourse. Politics are the violent means by which wealth and agency are distributed among groups. This process is by its very nature uncivil.
Liberalism deludes us into thinking it is morally preferable (as opposed to cowardly and repugnant) to self-regulate our dissent via artificial codes of conduct written and codified by the very powers we are dissenting against.
Take, e.g., liberals' repulsion against "impolite" criticisms of the U.S. national security state. They are able to view your mode of critique as the object worthy of criticism only because they've been taught to accept the wanton butchery of US imperialism as morally neutral.
The liberal is deeply concerned when you are uncivil in your criticism of a US President for conducting mass slaughter in seven nations at once. It is always your unsubtle intellect to blame for failing to parse the nuance of murdering human beings for oil vs. for another reason.
Continue to violate the codes of conduct the powerful have created to disembowel your dissent. Continue to shock people by telling the truth about U.S. weapons profiteering, imperialism, and violent wealth extraction. The fact that the truth is so disturbing is exactly the point.
