Thread on FSU DB Hamsah Nasirildeen starting now:

- Senior
- Height: 6’4”
- Weight: 220
- 2018: 91 tackles
- 2019: 101 tackles
Nasirildeen is a BIG safety and plays that way. Can see what type of player he is early on. Plays fast, aggressive, sideline to sideline, and tries to make a statement upon arrival.

FSU LBs/DBs had serious tackling issues and relied on 23 heavily (too often) to make stops.
Very physical run stuffer and a sure tackler. Looks like he’s blitzing here but shows really good lateral agility to avoid 2 linemen and bring the RB down.

6’4” 220 lbs with fluid movement and quickness.

Elite athlete.
Here are 3 goal line reps where I thought he showed some toughness and competitiveness.

He tracks the ball with urgency, stays in good position, and is violent at contact to try and keep them from scoring.
Plays like this aren’t supposed to look so routine. I think he’s at his best down in the box and playing a rover-like position where he’s free to react to the run.
Nasirildeen plays aggressively but isn’t reckless and stays under control for the most part. He plays at one speed and doesn’t miss tackles often.
Something I think he can improve upon are the angles he takes when in pursuit. He can get sucked down to the line too far at times leaving him chasing rather than meeting the ball carrier.
