The Institute celebrated its first anniversary on June 11. The Institute’s PhD in Health Science Education was approved by Senate on May 13, 2020 and now moves forward to the province for consideration.
Armand Aalamian was appointed as the Chair of the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada ( @AFMC_e), Postgraduate Medical Education Committee.

Mylène Dandavino was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics.
Michelle Elizov was appointed Associate Dean, Faculty Development, Faculty of Medicine, effective June 1. https://www.mcgill.ca/medicinefacdev/ 
Nicole Gignac was promoted to Administrative Coordinator at the Institute.
Peter Nugus was appointed as Associate Director, Graduate Programs, here at the Institute.
Safiya Simon joined our Institute administrative team on January 27. Safiya previously worked in the Undergraduate Medical Education office in the Faculty of Medicine and is replacing Audrey Lew during her maternity leave.
Ning-Zi Sun is the new program director for the Scholarship in Medical and Health Sciences Education Elective at the Institute ( @IHSE_McGill).
