Why Feminism is Haraam in Islam?

The dictionary meaning of Feminism is as follows : "Feminism is a range of social movements, political movements, and ideologies that aim to define, establish, and achieve the political, economic, personal, and social EQUALITY of the sexes."

That small 8 letter word seems to be where all of our Akal unfortunately goes down the drain.

Alhamdulillah we have been blessed with the beautiful Deen of Islam and the Sunnah of our Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم
which is a complete guide to life and everything it entails.

Unfortunately society,PAK in particular is plagued with the problems of Rape and gender based violence and all of this is completely Haraam however that still does not mean equality between male and female.

Please by all means advocate against these problems and stand up to injustice but do it in conformity with our beautiful Shari'a and not the misguided ways of the kuffar.

While Feminism goes for Equality,Islam goes for Equity.
Equity means to achieve fairness through treating people differently dependent on need
Let's take a look at a few Ayaat of the Quran

Surah Nisa,Ayah 34 :
"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend from their means"

Surah Nisa,Ayah 19:
O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take (back) part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness 1/2

For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good 2/2

In all these Ayaat we clearly see that the rights of women are incumbent upon men,in the eloquence of the Quran the expression بعضهم على بعض has a subtle indication to the fact that men & women are a part of each other therefore there is a hint that the precedent of men even 1/3

if proved in one or the other field will not go beyond being similar to the precedent of a man's head over his hand over his heart over his tongue so just as a president of men's head over his hand does not diminish the role and the importance of the hand 2/3

similarly the precedent of man does not cause any lowering of the status of women because both of them are part of each others body if a man is the head, woman is the body. 3/3

From all of this we see that Allah has given males and females their own unique rights and has made it incumbent on each of us to fulfill these rights of one another

instead of trying to get equal rights let us study our beautiful Deen and see what our rights are as well as focussing on fulfilling the rights of others

Allah grant us all the Tawfeeq to practice on the Quran and the teachings of our beloved Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم و
