A brief description of deku's birthdays over the years:

Age 0: labour was difficult. Izuku was the ugliest baby inko had ever seen. She adored him immediately. The first time she held him felt like the first time she'd ever really understood what loving someone meant.

Age 1: his parents threw a pretty big party, mostly for family. Izuku had no idea what was going on but he liked his little suit. He got so many gifts they had to buy a new cupboard for them. His favourite was a colourful plastic xylophone. Also he was afraid of the candle lol

Age 2: after the madness of last year, his parents had a little party with just the three of them. Izuku got a big blue stuffed elephant and squealed so loud inko's ears rang. Also he ate too much cake and threw up on his dad. They still have a photo of that somewhere.

Age 3: the year he met kacchan. They had a party at inko's. Kacchan blew out izuku's candle and izuku cried. Masaru felt so bad he bought izuku another gift the next day (a dollhouse). Mitsuki forbade katsuki from having a second slice of cake. Katsuki ate a candle in protest.

Age 4: party at preschool! Izuku brought cake and party packs and his teacher gave him stickers. His friends made him a big card with heroes on the front. At recess kacchan gave him a ring pop and they got married under a tree.

Age 5: he doesn't like to think about this one.

Age 6: disneyland with his mom! He was too little to ride the roller-coasters but Inko took him on the ferris wheel. stopped right at the top, inko pointed out tokyo tower. They even got to stay in a hotel and izuku took a bubble bath (it was pink) and got a cupcake (also pink)!

Ages 7 - 13: spent with inko. They'd do something relaxing, usually a movie and fancy dinner, and she'd give him a gift and a card (he always kept those). His dad would send money and video call him late into the night. Sometimes there'd be a con or summer sale in tokyo too

Age 14: training (he lifted a whole!! motorcycle!!). Let slip it was his birthday and poor all might felt so bad he dragged izuku to a diner and bought him 3 milkshakes. Later all might introduced him to some hero pals (they signed izuku's notebook). His best birthday in a while

Age 15: close to the entrance exam, too freaked out to celebrate. spent the day working out and trying not to think about what horrors UA might have in store for him. All Might gave him one of his old (pristine) capes and izuku actually wept. This year's cake was chocolate fudge

Age 16: a surprise party at UA. Uraraka definitely planned it. his mom called and cried about this being his first birthday away from her. kacchan didnt join the party but izuku did find a vintage all might notebook on his bed. That night izuku fell asleep looking at old photos.

Age 17: another internship. Not much time to celebrate, but the agency hosting him did get come cake and party hats. Inko called and cried at him again. All might sent trading cards and a sweater. Kacchan dropped by to ruffle his hair and treat him to after-work ramen.

Age 18: chaos. Someone broke into his room and wrapped up all his belongings. His bed. The desk lamp. All his books. Even his backpack and toothbrush. Kacchan threw a cupcake at izuku's head. Izuku threw one back.

Age 19: work

Age 20: work

Age 21: drunk off his ass. Sero and kaminari got an airbnb and spent all night making noxious cocktails. Uraraka threw up in a plant. Izuku doesn't know how but he and kacchan ended up making out on the floor. Todoroki has photos.

Age 22: tried to have a party but it was interrupted by villains

Age 23: a charity thing. It was nice, actually. Kacchan picked him out a new suit and they had champagne in the foyer, away from the cameras. Kacchan had his hair slicked back and his tie was dark green.

Age 24: work

Age 25: work. A little kid gave him a stuffed elephant.

Age 26: recovering from a bad fight. Kacchan made him food watched wildlife documentaries with him. They fell asleep together on the couch.

Age 27: universal studios. They got recognised and swamped by fans in front of the gift shop and izuku's autograph marker ran out of ink. Dinner at inko and all might's place after. They had ice cream instead of cake for a change.

Age 28: dinner party. Kacchan did the cooking and chased izuku out of the kitchen every time he came to snoop. Kaminari dropped the cake. kacchan physically threw him out the living room window. Izuku laughed so hard he dropped his wineglass. Kacchan threw him out too

Age 29: stopped a bank robbery. Broke a rib but went to dinner with kacchan anyway. Kacchan noticed him limping after dessert and yelled at him all the way to the hospital.

Age 30: a reunion. Every single one of his friends showed up, and they gave him a card with an old class photo on the front. Inko gave him a million kisses and all might gave him the keys to his very own two-man agency.

(Kacchan gave him a ring. They got married under a tree.)
