being black is an experience like none other.. imagine minding your business, then being stolen and sold by strangers... then they force you to work for them, all while slaughtering your people, family, and friends. whipping you, perverting your religion and using it to justify
the obvious evil being done to you and people who look like you. then after hundreds of years of this, finally being “free” and just trying to mind your business and build a life and then BOOM, Jim Crow. oh but it doesn’t end there. years of social, economic, systemic inequality
follow. then we get some dope leaders that just want EQUALITY (Athe list is endless) for our people, who never asked to be here and never did anything to deserve the blatant torture inflicted on us, and these same ppl who just can’t seem to just leave us alone murder, tear down,
and try to stop us from getting anything of our own. true sociopaths. and if that’s not enough, they “abolish” slavery.. lol did I say abolish? I meant they just named it the prison system and their “police” (slave catchers) continue to murder, rape, torture, harass, and oppress
BLACK people. so why should we stop talking about racism again??? it’s not a comparison of struggle cs quite frankly, whose struggle can compare?? it’s our REALITY. and it’s all very much still happening to this day.
as a people, nonblack POC, and others who don’t share our experience, it’s important to try to understand, empathize, and stand with those who are oppressed, those who aren’t as privileged as you are. don’t want to “keep hearing about racism”? then help fight racism.
BE the change you want to see, cs just pretending it doesn’t exist and ignoring blatant truths is a gross disservice to your fellow man.
