am i seriously considering searching for cheap funkos to repaint so that they resemble my peeps from Dragon Age????

okay we'll start with Origins and make Talia and Alistair.... now to find decent bodies for them

so!! for Talia i'm thinking the head of this rando from marvel and paired with the body of Asami from LoK. both will be repainted to get the right colours and i'll mould some swords for her to hold. and a bun cos... Talia likes a bun

for Alistair!! i found this ice hockey dude whose hair is similar in style but would also need painting for the wee ginger that i love

however!!! the body im stuck on so there's a poll in the next tweet to help me decide between

more advice needed!! so Talia is a rogue who prefers dual swords. what gives the most Dragon Age: Origins rogue-class feel???

also me: buys the body for my inquisitor and the head for my hawke

so this is the body for Aellyce Lavellan. purely bought for the staff but the armour isn't too bad. i'll add some extras to make it look more like the elven mage armour

and this is the head i got for Hawke before i realise shE HAS A FUCKING PONYTAIL THAT ILL NEED TO DEAL WITH. I THOUGHT HER HAIR WAS SHORT!!! my plan will be just to saw it off then fill in any gaps and add some wispy bits and a fringe

okay so the funkos i bought have arrived!!!

the body for Aellyce Lavellan is good. i'm gonna add the armour and tweak the staff a little but it'll do perfectly ngl

however!! the head i bought for Maeva Hawke just isnt gonna work. the hair would just take too much work to get rid of the ponytail

so i'll just keep her aside and keep her for something else

ive done some quick mock ups of Alistair and Talia

also trying to find ANYTHING that suits Anders is a fucking painnnnnn
im thinking this and HEAVILY modding it. like shaving off the "fishing" parts of the rod to make it a staff and then adding the details and then just adding his wee feather coat thingy

okay with that decided, i've got everyone's base head/body sorted out as well as all the mods i'll need to do to them written down. now... to just start looking for the cheapest ones and buying them!!!

and don't worry, i am going to film the process of this! unless i fail spectacularly in which case this thread never happened
