Everyone is freaking out about Under Armour leaving #lacrosse. Let& #39;s break it down.

1. It& #39;s just hard goods. Heads, shafts, gloves, pads, etc. They& #39;re still going to make apparel/unis.

2. They weren& #39;t designing their own gear. A company called Team 22 in Albany, NY did that.
3. Team 22 is also responsible for Gait& #39;s return to lacrosse. Paul Gait designed UA& #39;s most successful heads including the Command, Command Low and their sequels. And the Torques. And the women& #39;s heads.

4. If you like UA gear you can just buy Gait stuff going forward.
5. Anyone with a UA hard goods deal will be looking to get another manufacturer in there quick. This will take time because companies are struggling because of COVID. Some DI teams might not get a deal until 2021.

6. The real story is that lacrosse retail is DESTROYED right now.
7. Some reports have the YEARLY volume down by nearly 80%. The loans have not been enough.

8. Seriously. The lacrosse industry is in freefall and anyone that tells you otherwise is lying. Please support your local businesses.
