3/ Ultimately, the forces that want to stoke the flames of US/Iran hostility & trigger conflict sabotaged the deal.
But it’s not dead yet, which is testament to its “win-win” nature for the countries that negotiated it.

4/ The JCPOA’s track record can now be weighed against “maximum pressure.” The JCPOA eased tensions, eliminated risk of war, opened door to broader US-Iran diplomacy & increased the prosperity of the Iranian people.
5/ Meanwhile, “maximum pressure” has restarted the Iranian nuclear crisis, taken the US to the brink of a disastrous war multiple times & is suffocating the Iranian people. It’s destabilized the region & met no reasonably defined US interests.
