Xi's China is picked fights with a superpower and nearly every major power in its neighbourhood. It has also loaned lots of money to lots of countries around the world that will turn in to very bad debt after Covid. It has halted the globalisation that powers its prosperity.

The only reason China can compound its mistakes with more mistakes is because it has banned opposition parties and killed dissent. I've said this before -- China has begun to fall before rising to where it could.
