Hi. Good morning. This is just a reminder that I'm fat, probably fatter than you're comfortable with acknowledging, I used to be EVEN fatter, and I'm going to stay fat for the rest of my life because that is how my body is made, and there is nothing wrong with any of that.
"but this has nothing to do with astrology", you say. But my fatness affects everything, I say. If the unfolding of a chart is affected by the social conditions of the native, my fatness affects how my self is perceived & my ability to receive things I may be "promised".
I might have Jupiter in Cancer in 10H and have coworkers that like me a lot but I am still more likely to be underpaid and passed over for promotion than my thin colleagues! Aries Moon 7H aggression is cute for a thin female native, "brusque" or "masculine" for the fat one.
My fatness informs & affects my queerness too. I have spent a long time figuring out what it means to be rejected on multiple levels and accepted on others and how to tie all of it together. I'm not eligible to play the social attractiveness game so I made my own game.
I want you to come play this game too. You can make up your own rules and the uniforms come in all sizes. The other one will kill you in your attempts to keep up, whether it's your body through drugs, dieting, & WLS or your mind through internalized fatmisia.
It's important for me to remind people of all of this because it is a central part of my identity that has informed & affected everything I do, say, & have had said & done to me. I am inseparable from it. My work reflects me.
Can fatness be shown in the chart? Maybe. People talk about the juicy thighs of a Sag rising or the wide hips/big butt of a Libra rising. Jolly chubby Jupiter isn't an uncommon image. He does symbolize expansion, after all. It's something I'd like to examine more.
I just needed to say all of this and reassert that my body is made of stardust just like everyone else's. More of it, even. Maybe that's why I feel so pulled to the stars.
