MJ Hegar (FR) vs. Royce West (RU)

Hegar is as a political outsider and a war vet. She is a moderate who has avoided attacks from Senator Cornyn

West is also a moderate & has been framed as Coryn's opponent while having years of political experience
U.S. Representative, District 10
Siegel (FR) vs. Ghandi (RU)

Siegel's the progressive in the race with his support of progressive policies, like the Green New Deal

Gandhi's a primary care doctor, more moderate, doesn't support some progressive policies like Medicare for All

Castañeda (FR) vs. Alonzo (RU)

Castañeda's campaigning as the candidate with the most energy experience in an environmental race

Former State Rep. Alonzo for the 1st time in his career is going by “Beto” Alonzo bc "it’s a name that was recognized"

Palmer (FR) vs. McLeod (RU)

Michelle Palmer is a social studies teacher from Aldine ISD and HISD

McLeod is an assistant superintendent at the Harris County Department of Education

Both are considered qualified for this role

Bacy (FR) vs. Pool (RU)

Bacy's an immigration lawyer & former prosecutor with focuse on education, healthcare, & restorative justice

Pool's the 1st transgender Texan to win a primary race & is focused on public works, parks, police & safety

Dutton (FR) vs. Davis (RU)

Dutton has served as State Rep since 1985 & focuses on workforce development, healthcare & education

Davis is a former Councilman with a passion to serve his constituents, & focuses on job training programs in school
State Representative, District 148
Eastman (FR) vs. Shaw (RU)

Eastman supports DeVos & charter schools. A Texas PAC supported by Betsy Devos’ organization supported Eastman in the primary.

Shaw is a 20-year human rights attorney who is considered the progressive candidate
14th Court of Appeals, Place 7
Craft (FR) vs. Thomas (RU)

Craft would be the first African American on the 14th Court & is the youngest & most qualified candidate with 17 years of experience

Thomas has 15 years of experience with law & has worked on ~50 civil & criminal appeals
District Judge, 164th Judicial District
Thornton (FR) vs. Smoots-Thomas (RU)

Thornton practiced primarily civil law for ~33 years & is running as the candidate your can trust

Smoots-Thomas was suspended from the bench due to a case alleging she embezzled campaign donations
District Judge, 339th Judicial District
Bell (FR) vs. White (RU)

Bell has 15 years of experience & has handled thousands of cases and tried more than 50 cases, from misdemeanors to murders.

White served as a judge for a Municipal Court where she handled criminal misdemeanors

Moore (FR) vs. Alexander (RU)

Moore was the chief of staff for former Mayor White & is framed as the experienced candidate.

Alexander is an educator framing herself as the activist candidate for working people with a focus on climate change
Constable, Precinct 2
Diaz (FR) vs. Garcia (RU)

Constable Diaz allegedly pressured employees to donate to his campaigns & punished those who refused

Garcia alleges Diaz pushed his wife’s cousin, who had the same name as Garcia, to run to confuse voters & his ensure re-election
Constable, Precinct 3
Eagleton (FR) vs. Jones (RU)

Eagleton currently serves as a sergeant in Precinct 3, where he's worked for 23 years.

Jones lost in '16 bc he posted a photo of him w/ a noose to threaten a hacker “I used it as a prop for my message about being hacked”
Constable, Precinct 5
Harrison (FR) vs. Newman (RU)

Harrison is an experienced veteran law enforcement officer, Former Chief of Police, & Lieutenant w/ the Harris County Constable Office

Newman is currently w/ Waller County constable precinct 4 handling internal affairs
