everyone's learning style is different and in my opinion ttmk is a bit too simple for me, so i refer to htsk because they have long elaborations! i also use a textbook

you can also look up on how other people learnt korean on youtube! it helped me to find suitable sites/books for me and motivated me a lot. goodluck everyone~
and one more thing, just don't be afraid to make mistakes. although this is smthng i struggle with myself too but it's okay because it's a learning process so it will help you understand things better in the future. as long as you're discipline, there's no way you won't succeed
some people pick up the language easier by watching dramas/variety shows etc so it really depends on your style. try experimenting things and find one that suits you and go with it 
+ these are the textbooks i used! i found it because i saw people recommending it on youtube but there are plenty of other types, even ttmik has exercise books on their site!

p.s. if someone asks you how you learnt korean etc etc it's best to help others out than keeping it to yourself because i believe when you share your knowledge, it helps you absorb things better too. sharing is caring, don't be snobby!
