Seeing some Takes on twitter right now, so I want to be clear: I hate LoK not because of Korra, but for a multitude of infuriating writing decisions.

If I ever start destroying key parts of my established world in a sequel cause I was bored and wanted change, stop me.

List of stuff for the hell of it:

Destroying the connection to past avatars
Plots resolves with deus ex machina
Erasing the consequences of genocide
Abusive relationship played for lols
Dumb love triangle where Korra's romantically linked to EVERYONE
Pro bending sucks

For an extra kick in the teeth, the connection was never explored to its full potential, was seen as being expendable just because Korra didn't use it much, and it was destroyed RIGHT AFTER Avatar Wan's awesome episodes.
