i try not to comment on drama on main anymore but just my two cents about the arb thing: it’s discouraging for real to not have content, but fp had a similar ‘drought’ in death respect era and focusing on it made me so bitter and killed my love for the series for a few months

this isn’t to handwave anyone feeling upset, but just a reminder that fans of all the division have all had qualms and complaints about their faves’ handling (whether its in the song quality, the number of their merch, their role in the story)

it’s all valid and all biased at the same time. the lack of focus on the ones we like can feel exemplified precisely because we like them so much, but like i mentioned earlier—sitting in this feeling only made me feel worse and made me resentful. i don’t wanna be like that again

as for the state of fp rn, i’m sure jp fans are being vocal about it, and they’ve already addressed it once so it’s only a matter of time. we got smthn as incredible as stella and their succeeding char growth after months of NOTHING, to the point that other fans began to complain

it pays to be patient. and if something that’s supposed to be bringing you joy is only breeding bad emotions, it also pays to step away and return when fp gets focus again. fandom isn’t a job, you don’t have to work urselves to the bone for these chars 24/7. breaks are good!

anyway, i would just hate for others to go through what i did in those last months of 2018. this series and fling posse especially are very special to me, and it sucked when i (fortunately temporarily!) began to associate them with negative emotions instead. hold on to your joy
