1. Been seeing some divided posts. Some from angry "popular" artists just trying to drop knowledge and some from angry "smol" artists who feel they're at war. Listen up little babies. All of you need to shutup for a second. -

2. It's all about balance. You're all right. But some of u have been sipping the algorithm sauce for so long, you don't know that your growing at 2x the rate of the smol babies. And some of u little guys talking bout "I don't need to get better beca-" no. Stupid. -

3. Your shit needs to be appealing. Do you need to be THE BEST? No. Do you need to be good enough that people actually want to look at your shit? Yes. And "good' is subjective. Somma y'all are gonna get away with "it's my style" if you make it look confident.

4. But many won't. You'll look amateur and ppl won't hire or follow you. Even if you're deep in a fandom. Now. On the flip. Some skilled artists in the asscrack of social media, it's not all about your skill. Ur not owed an audience of HUMANS with FREE WILL -

5. Just because you draw well. Come on now. You've gotta be doing shit they're searching for. And even then you need luck to pop up and get the ball rolling. After that you need consistency (don't look at me for that). Basically, both sides can take shit from each-

6. Other. Stop fighting all the time and getting mad when someone tries to help. And cut the "woe is me" sob stories and start grinding out and doing shit ppl wanna see. Sure fan art is a fast track but it's not the only way. Oh, also, numbers don't equate to money so..

7. Anyways. Wanted to drop this since like 3 of you listen to me sometimes. End of the day, strangers are not obliged to give a shit about you, so make them want to. And just getting gud ain't Gon do shit either unless you're being smart too or you get mad lucky.
