Facemasks - an opinion!
Facemasks will now be required by law in shops.
There are many conspiracies, complaints and moans about this. Ranging from "they said they didn't help so why have they now said they do" - all the way to "You're not going to muzzle me!" etc...

Well... Firstly I was in the "well they say don't wear masks - so I shan't" camp, because i saw the logic in reserving the equipment for front line staff. No-one knew yet exactly how this virus was being spread, it may have similarities to other ones, but it was new and odd.

Then research started coming in and they said "you should probably wear masks when out... it may help" - okeydokey, they have NEW evidence and are adjusting their advice accordingly. This sounds sensible because they have NEW info! I can dig this!

THEN they said "right folks, droplets are a problem... like a huge one... wear masks or we'll fine you and re-impose lockdown!" - and I figured that fab, they have MORE evidence that proves this is a key method of transmission. I'M GONNA WEAR A MASK! Why?

Because it's really not a problem for me to. IF I can reduce the risk of spreading something (or catching it) then surely I should do so? I mean I know I look a bit of an idiot in a mask, but I'm not known for my social grace anyway... So it's all good!

If you don't agree with wearing masks, and it's not because you have a health condition that may be impacted, then what is the problem? It's surely no different to wearing a scarf when it's cold? So just find a suitable design that reflects your mood and sling that bad boy on!
