People who don’t want to wear masks make it more dangerous for me and my partner who know if one of us gets this we’ll both get it and the odds are one of us will die. We’re not going to be able to get back to normal until EVERYONE wears a mask *or* there’s a vaccine.

So right now we’ve to watch everyone getting back to going about their lives whilst we have to stay in to protect ourselves, because we’re seen as expendible collateral damage. This is your structural ableism in effect.

The first part of lockdown was easier, everyone was in the same boat, but now we remain locked up whilst you get back to a sort of normal and slowly forget about us.
