Laurence Carr only found out about DNAR on his sister after she'd been discharged to a different hospital. It was applied on admission to @WHHNHS over a week earlier with words "awaiting" next to family consultation box.

Lawyers at @DHSCgovuk argued for weeks that incidents were local issues and “the secretary of state does not accept that there is a lack of clarity: the position on the use of DNARs is entirely clear” - it changed tack hours before proceedings were due to be issued
