I was excited when I downloaded the app, gave them my info and my picture. I would not have given them this information had I known males were also going to be on the app. It’s only after that I checked their website. #SexNotGender https://joinagiggle.com/faq/ 
This could be rectified if @salltweets simply mentioned in the description that transwomen are welcome on the app, and at least removed the word “female” from the description. The word “female” describes #SexNotGender.

Apparently it is just for anyone that the app thinks looks enough like a female person. Finally an answer to my question! So it’s an app for anyone, not for “girls/women/females only”.
