Hello all.

So, as much as I just kind of want to hide away forever, obviously that won& #39;t help me at all.

Thank you so much to everyone -- reader, colleague, employer -- who has encouraged me to keep writing. It means everything.

I& #39;m gonna lay out my thoughts on that here. 1/5
The obvious first step is to find more paying work, but as any author can tell you that& #39;s easier said than done. I& #39;ll be shaking trees, but I left my schedule very open because the BL demand seemed so secure.

Lessons learned, eh? 2/5
In the meantime, I& #39;m trying to look at this as an opportunity to work on my own ideas. Silver linings, right?

Step 1 of that will be polishing my trunk novel to my current standard of writing and shopping it around. 3/5
Step 2 will be starting a new project. I& #39;ve written multiple novels now, after all. It& #39;s just a question of doing it.

I have some thoughts on how to tie that into a Patreon, maybe, and having some community involvement. I need to do groundwork first, though. 4/5
Mostly because I want that Patreon to be WORTH your time when I get it started.

If you& #39;ve read this thread, thank you again. Sharing stories is all I& #39;ve ever wanted to do. If you want to be a part of that, please do stick around. This will be the place to follow along. 5/5
