This is a time of transition

As the team leading us find their feet we have a clear ask from them: we want more consistency & clarity around international travel (1)

(2) this is important for many reasons around new clusters that PH specialists like @NICU_doc_salone have articulated so eloquently

It’s also really important for trust

Many people have cancelled trips taking the financial hit for the collective good

Many are planning

(3) trips with elderly parents, vulnerable family members in Ireland

People expect the security of knowing that we are doing all that is reasonably possible to keep community transmission at a minimum so they can do that safely

Keeping the virus at bay is key to keeping the

(4) the country opening

It’s vital for our children’s wellbeing that the collective efforts are directed at supporting our education sector to have the resources & procedures in place that our children are returning to school in September

Our public health specialists have led us with skill disproportionate to their tiny numbers

At this time where complacency is a risk
