Richard Rose, rest in peace. The 37-year-old Ohio man condemned the "hype" over #COVID19 on social media and declared he would "not buy a f**king mask." He died of #COVID on July 3.

Yes, masks are uncomfortable. But I can tell you these things are more uncomfortable:
- Fever of 104, chills, aches.
- Being unable to breathe.
- Spending 17 days in the hospital, including 6 days in the ICU, hooked up to a ventilator.

More uncomfortable than wearing a mask:
- Having an IV stuck in your arm (at a not-great angle) for those 17 days in the hospital.
- Getting injected in your stomach every few hours with heparin, a blood thinner (to prevent clots).
