If you are a bishop/district president/ecclesiastical supervisor who urges churches to obey every state-ordered shutdown because you're afraid of lawsuits and bad press, the best way you can serve your church body is to retire.

You are not called to defend earthly institutions. You are called to serve THE CHURCH.

Christians, understand this--the world hates you. No matter how you respond to the Coronavirus, the world will hate you. There is no way out of this epidemic without the Church being blamed. You are not winsome or wise enough to change that.

Stop trying to impress the girl who has been disgusted by you from the second she saw you. You will not win her over with your compliance. You will not win her soul by showing her how willing you are to starve the actual people you've been called to feed with God's gifts.

So wake up and find your courage or resign your positions of leadership and power. Either put on the armor of God or make way for someone who will.
