Alright, let’s keep this civil.

1.) Ok, first up Birds of Prey IS only loudly hated by misogynists. I’m not talking about “Eh, I just don’t like it.” I’m talking about the people who harp on it every single day. They are misogynists, I don’t care.

2.) Joss Whedon’s Justice League would have been a fine movie in an alternate universe where the effects were finished, he were on it from the beginning of the shoot, and he weren’t a piece of shit. The story isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever seen.

3.) Suicide Squad is only barely more watchable than Whedon’s JL. It’s a disaster of a film, editing wise.

4.) Aquaman is more like Zack’s films than it gets credit for. It’s so much like Man of Steel. A child of two worlds fighting someone of his “alien” race. You have two guys fighting and it’s broken up by a mother. It’s all very much cut from the same cloth.

5.) Wonder Woman is great... But it’s not as rewatchable for me.

6.) BvS isn’t perfect. It’s my favorite one... But do we need Lois to trip on the way to the spear...?

7.) I wish the Batman/Superman fight were longer. However, the shortness makes every bit of it more memorable. Every part of it is very distinct. Still, I wish there were more.

8.) Shazam was made with just as much heart as BvS. David Sandberg put his soul into that, and he deserves respect.

9.) I really didn’t think we’d see Zack’s Justice League this soon. I thought I would have half forgotten about it and then it would come out in 2045.

10.) Zack’s DCEU is closer to Star Wars than the MCU is. I see that MCU/Star Wars comparison all the time and I don’t get it. I made a video on that a while back that’s pretty cool.

11.) I really think Zack gets Star Wars more than Kevin Feige does. With Zack, we get Campbellian Myth. With Feige, we get hands removed.

12.) If the Multiverse thing does start happening with the films, I don’t want to see the CW stuff in a theater. I just can’t stand that universe.

13.) The only reason the DCEU didn’t catch on as fast as the MCU is because of film “journalism.” If they didn’t do calculated hit pieces and if people didn’t regurgitate it as fact, we wouldn’t have any of the uncertainty we have now.

14.) We just need to block the “Batman doesn’t kill” / “Superman needs to be _____” people. They’ll never learn

15.) I wouldn’t mind a lighter Superman on screen. Don’t neeeed it though. I just want to see him.

16.) Some of these Snyder fans are fucking ridiculous. I love his films, but some of you sold your souls to him. It’s unhealthy.

17.) Everytime Batman kills, an angel gets its wings. I like when he doesn’t, but man, when he does and the fanboy tears start flowing, that’s sweet.

18.) The Batman is going to be sick, but I understand why some people aren’t excited. Everyone was geared up for Ben in a perfect Batman movie. I was. Now there’s this. It’s not what we wanted, but I think it’s going to be great.

19.) I’m kinda scared for the future of Green Lantern on the screen. I just want it to be as cool as the character IS.

20.) MEW is hot as Huntress. Leaving that there.

21.) Also, the costumes of Birds of Prey are how they are because

1.) They match the rest of the production design

2.) These characters are still coming into their own. If that’s good enough for Zack’s characters, it should be good enough for Cathy Yan.

22.) I think BvS is unwatchable without those 30 minutes. That’s like half the story. To each their own, I guess.

23.) With that 30 minutes, it wouldn’t have been AS grilled by the critics and I don’t think it would have dropped as heavy on its second weekend in the box office. It would still have been hated by the wrong people, but there are a lot of people who have come around since the UE

24.) The “Pet Sematary” bit was funny.

25.) We’re lucky Whedon’s JL didn’t make bank. He’d probably be making a sequel right now minus Cyborg.

26.) “De-Marvelizing” Aquaman and Shazam is insulting. Any fan art/edit not done with respect or love of a harmless product is trash as far as I’m concerned.

27.) Shut the fuck up about “WW: Ragnarok.”

28.) James Gunn’s Suicide Squad is a bit of a pickle for me. I think that the right wing media went a little TOO hard to get him cancelled. It felt weird. But also, he said and did a lot of trash. I’m excited for the characters and returning actors, and will remain so.

29.) I’m praying for JL2 and beyond to exist on HBO Max, but I’m not holding my breath.

30.) I don’t want Zack’s JL as a series. I’ll live with it and love it no matter what, but I want to watch it all in one go.

31.) I wanted Batman to use the Batwing in his fight with Superman like some of the editing in the trailers suggested. That was a bit of a bummer when I saw it in theaters. Don’t care now.

32.) If Diana doesn’t kill Maxwell Lord, I’m gonna be bummed out. But I really don’t want to hear “they ruined it” from everyone on here if she doesn’t.

33.) The “I started a joke” Suicide Squad trailer is fantastic. It should be watched in place of the movie during DCEU marathons.

34.) There needs to be a well documented tally on how much inaccurate news there is about this franchise. These “journalists” need to be held accountable.

35.) That pink unicorn was bullshit in Suicide Squad. It didn’t even mean anything or matter. It was just put in to show that Captain Boomerang was “quirky.”

36.) I’m kind of worried about some stuff that Zack shot not being included in his cut. I know a lot of it was a compromise, but I like some of it. Like the Alfred/Superman scene or Flash saying “that’s rude” to Gordon. No confirmation on that, but still, I wanna see it in there.

37.) Flash’s run is fine. Dude’s going a million miles an hour, I think his body would move a bit differently. Maybe he’ll move different in Zack’s stuff. Who knows.

38.) BoP’s score is up there with MoS and BvS.

39.) The Batman morals of BvS are a bit muddy. It’s all there. I think it’s fine. But him still killing after the Superman fight feels a little off. I know it’s the sacrifice that brings him around, but I feel like that’s why people don’t really get it.

40.) I wish they didn’t show Wonder Woman or Doomsday in the trailers...

41.) Freddy Freeman flying is a top 10 DCEU moment. It always brings a tear to my eye.

42.) I feel like they should make Wonder Woman’s powers a bit more concrete. Can she fly? Is the boosh from the gauntlets? From her? Both? Maybe I just need to watch again.

43.) “I don’t want to do this in front of your daughter.”

Does it in front of his daughter. What?

44.) I wish everything about this universe WASN’T news.

I couldn’t give less of a fuck what Robin was in the dead suit. If they haven’t said it in the film, it’s whoever makes sense to you.

45.) I think the Merch not looking like the characters in the Shazam toy store is not a big deal at all. Couldn’t care less.

46.) Ok. Superman’s head in Shazam... I think it’s embarrassing that they couldn’t get Henry. It’s disappointing. Something the MCU does well is they can usually get their actors back.

But, oddly, it still kinda works for me... It’s genuinely funny and nice.

47.) I think we need to see more of the Wisdom of Solomon in the next Shazam. I do think it kicked in when he defeated Envy, but we need a bit more.

48.) It bums me out that Mary got shafted in the final fight. She didn’t really get a cool fight against the Sins.

49.) I fucking love seeing Mr. Mind. That was one of the best credit scenes in a long time.

50.) We need more Amy as Lois. That’s all there is to it. Her role in JL was just sad. Her disdain is written all over her face. I think we need at least three more films with her to make up for that.

51.) If Ben wants to be out (which he does), we should let him be out. I think we should let him go after ZSJL. It’s healthy for all of us.

52.) Rob Liefeld isn’t our friend for wanting the Snyder Cut. Guy has been awful for years.

53.) I don’t love the Suicide Squad soundtrack. The forced needle drops aren’t my thing.
