horror films for me are a very old and active passion, it molded my personality and taste in so many ways...so when i found that horror isn't just jumpscares and actually the genre with some of the best films, well...THAT was a cultural reset

a lot about my personality revolves around a woman's multiplicity, eroticism, insanity, the quest for inner understanding of one's self and sexuality, and all of that is very tied to what i consume

so when i get to see that in certain films + the women dressed in beautiful dainty dresses covered in blood? cultural awakening

if you look closely, most of the things i talk about are tied to my taste (even if not clear), like gothic literature, horror itself in every aspect; from art to books, from mangas to tv shows, and even my own poetry, which is embedded with so many meanings and redefinitions of

life and death and being, through clear or not little metaphors (most of them only i understand but are open to people's own interpretations).

and i know that i post a lot about cottagecore, but that's just the reflection of my own life right now and something that i love (my pure definition of cottagecore is simply nature btw)
