If the news covered nightly protests, the protests would mostly end because people would finally see what they are actually saying and doing. I watch some every night, and it's frightening.
These protests are live all over Facebook, YouTube, Periscope, & Twitch. The things being said, vile language, the violence, the systematic doxxing of police...unbelievable. Toddlers brought to riots to trot out in front of police. Are none of you seeing this?
Regardless of your political views, you should watch late into the night and see what happens. It will turn your stomach. It will open your eyes. If you are getting your news from the "news" you aren't seeing the news.
These protests are making the news only when it fits a narrative. You are being duped to believe this is about what these protests started out to accomplish. Some of those protests still exist. They are few.
Pastors, you have to stay informed. You have to see these "protests." If you need links, DM me. Your cities, your neighbors and their businesses, are under attack. Wake up.
The police have to go out every night and put these children to bed. Their lives and families are put at risk. They don't always do the right thing, but they mostly do. We are fortunate they don't all walk off the job and let things go. But it might happen in places.
I hate even tweeting about this because people will assume I'm a Trump supporter (I'm not) or that I'm following some party line (I don't & I won't). I'm deeply concerned for my city & neighbors. And I'm deeply concerned my friends are ignorant of what's actually happening.
Everyone right now should demand that the news covers the news. Keep us informed. Tell the truth. Let us decide. There is a fundamental problem with journalism today, and we must not allow it. A free press, and a fair press, must be demanded by a free people.
