so this “fight” has been going on for hours, and i don’t talk for every latinx but in my opinion if you were born in the US and want to call yourself a latinx bc you have latin descent then actually embrace it? you say it’s your identity then actually MAKE IT your identity, learn

about your culture, your language, talk about it, talk about the issues that are going in latam, bc every country is suffering (some worse than others) but we really need help and nobody cares about us since we’re third world countries, raise your voice irl, in social media,

EVERYWHERE!! LEARN to not speak over us and DO NOT use the stereotypes that are harmful to us just to say “ i am latinx” just please listen to us and respect our opinions bc they are valid, also actually learn the countries that are in latam? we’re not just brazil, argentina

and mexico, we are 20 countries full of diversity, different cultures and religions, different languages (brazil does not speak spanish they speak portuguese) we can be black, white, indigenous, asiatic, YOU NAME IT and all of us are equally latinx !! and yes there are problems

within the latinx community, latinxs can also be racist against other latinx people, there is colorism which we are fighting against since forever and y’all trying to separate us by the color of our skin and saying which one of us is more or less latinx just helps to the very

thing we are fighting against!! Just please know that you were born in a better country than every other here and that you are privileged and that YOU can help us but not by speaking over us and thinking that your opinion is more valid than ours.

and to my latinx people i love all of you !!! your race, religion, culture, ect does not make you less latinx than others, I LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE VALID VAMOS PA LANTE !
