Wow, YouTube is frustrating. It's been 7 months since I hit 100,000 subscribers and applied for the verified checkmark and despite contacting them repeatedly asking what's going on with my application, they keep giving me the "we have a lot of applications, sorry!" response.

Not only that, but they completely removed the "Go To Channel" feature so it's impossible to verify whether someone is real or an impersonator without using external methods (like me Tweeting that I am, in fact, watching EVW's stream right now).

It's so frustrating. People who aren't me are tricking other people into believing they're me, and I'm being called a fake and being banned from chats. For the time being, I'm going to avoid chatting in YouTube livestreams because it's just not worth the hassle.

It's RIDICULOUS that @TeamYouTube has left me in the dark about my verification application for SEVEN MONTHS now after telling me "it'll take a few weeks". I'm normally able to keep my composure, but I'm REALLY irritated at this point.
