In April 2020 President Trump's unveiled his Deal of the Century to establish a peaceful, prosperity-based implementation of a Palestinian state.

It was summarily rejected by our American and International press, the prior admin and the Palestinian leaders, but support for the deal in the Mideast may be stronger than we know.
The Deal of the Century (DOC) provides the Palestinians self-governance, but includes security for Israel as well
The DOC provides economic incentives for the Palestinians to establish a new nation that is free from terrorism. The incentives extend beyond just Palestine.
The deal cites what amounts to the "recognition" of Israel by it's Arab neighbors. It estimates that Palestinian GDP could double in 10 years, create over 1 million new jobs, reduce the unemployment rate below 10 percent, and
reduce the poverty rate by 50 percent.
The DOC takes on almost every issue involved including Al Quds/Jerusalem, refugees, Gaza, security, etc. The DOC is unlike any other proposed agreement before it, which pushed out key issues for later resolution.
More importantly it establishes borders, a West Bank-Gaza tunnel, a port of entry, a US-Palestine Trade Agreement and a high-tech manufacturing zone.
The DOC would establish a Regional Security Committee comprised of the US, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE
So is the Deal of the Century dead? Apparently not, the Palestinians last month submitted a FOUR page counter proposal. Let's hope this is not game playing but real dialogue so a deal can get done and the endless wars can continue to end.
