Interesting timeline for the Washington Redtails trademark. This guy registered it in 2014 and then abandoned it in 2016.

It was registered again in Feb this year by two guys that do consulting work for Deloitte, both live in DC.

McCaulay submitted another in July, but might... https://twitter.com/WillBrinson/status/1282669101597503495
...be too late. I don't think the Redskins suddenly started this process this month. February fits the timeline better. And they have a lot of connections/work with Deloitte.

My guess is that they're going to be the @Redtails (hope that guy gets paid) and this last minute...
...filing by this other guy is a small obstacle they have to hurdle, but only because he had submitted a TM request before.

Also, very smart of them to have these two consultants register the name rather than the NFL so as to not alert everyone.

One of the consultants...
...recently left Deloitte. I wonder if he's going to be moving to the Redskins/NFL. No new job listed yet, also probably intentional.
The guy that recently left Deloitte recently suspended his twitter account ( @nka_tenten). He also had this tweet under an old handle:

"@DeronDMV: Redskins gotta change their name, man. For real."

He's also a brand manager that "lead[s] ethnographic research activities."
An archived tweet (probably some media in that blank spot but it didn't get archived).

He also RTd the second image.
Also RTd the following leading up to the days before he disabled his account.
A couple of news reports I've read have already reported on the two employees from Deloitte registering the trademark in February, but it appears they think they're keeping it for themselves or squatting on it.

I'm sure they're working for the Redskins on this.
Also, the other guy's social media accounts have been scrubbed.
One finalish note, the trademark was filled in February but not published for opposition until June which would have probably notified the previous owner of the mark.

It's probably why he filed again along with all the other names he did.
