Always nice to start a meeting by threatening that OC Sheriff officers are in attendance and will remove anyone if necessary. Hey, wonder if those sheriff officers will also be ensuring masks are worn..

Remember she doxxed Dr Quick (OC’s former OC Chief Health Officer) and encouraged people to go to her home and protest. She is personal friends with Pres. Barke.

Emailed comments most likely won’t be read. Shameful.

Hundreds of emails have been submitted, OCBE is trying to approve this without even discussing what to do with those submitted comments.

They are ONCE AGAIN restricting people with disabilities & those not comfortable with attending due to a pandemic from participating.

This meeting needs to be in compliance w/the Americans with Disabilities Act, by requiring accommodations. Their agenda clearly states that emailed comments will be read if submitted in time, and the 30 mins outlined in the agenda was already extended to allow friends to speak.

The resolution passed 4-1.

The only no was Trustee Beckie Gomez (District 1).

Shameful. They did even discuss the emailed comments before voting.

OCBE is clarifying they had nothing to do with the letter sent by OCDE to stop school youth sports.

If you listen to Barke, the Superintendent does not communicate with them. For a reason. OCDE does not align with the Trustees on many issues. That’s why Barke made the panel.

More than 2500 emails were receieved, they are now debating what to do with them.

Williams & Barke are pushing to add names to the record. That’s it. Names.

They won’t read them. They won’t scan them. They are being thrown away. Your time was wasted. Your opinion is worthless.

They did not give everyone a speaker card who attended the meeting. They only gave cards to their friends. Holy shit I can’t believe Nina just admitted this bullshit.

Well, none of that meeting surprises me. Most of what happened is exactly what I warned about.

But, I’m still angry.

It’s shameful that people who run for a board of education trustee position would care so little about our staff and children. They need to go! Now.
