Renfrow played in 13 games last season, started 4 games and finished the year with 49 catches, 605 yards and 4 TDs on 71 targets, let’s see why the Raiders like him.
He’s a dynamic player can be used out of the backfield or jet sweeps, this play he catches a screen pass, makes the first defender miss and gets the first down.
Simple slant route where the DB was blanketed on Renfrow for the catch. He shakes off the CB and saftey and accelerate to the end zone for the big play.
Renfrow gets open quick and started to become a saftey blanket for Carr during the final games of the season. He’s a pretty good route runner with a little burst in and out of his breaks to get separation. He can also do some damage after the catch.
This is just a great contested catch by a 5’10, 185 slot receiver. Great job fighting for the football post catch.
This is my personal favorite play, already has the defender beat deep, but now has to make the adjustment to catch this pass. Renfrow makes the adjustment as soon as he sees the ball headed his way, and makes a great diving catch.
He seems to just tear apart and always find the soft spot in zone coverage. After the catch he makes a very smart play laterally the football to his nearest receiver to gain extra yards. Risky move that paid off.
Renfrow has deceiving speed. He plays much faster than he looks. This is just that typical catch and run where he beats the first defender, makes the saftey miss and he’s gone. (Saftey also made a bad play on him

Towards the end of the year Hunter Renfrow finished with back to back 100 yard games, and was also on pace for 80+ catches, 1,110 yards and 9 TDs over the last 7 games. Stats here courtesy of @FantasyMikeBBF
Going into his sophomore year and everyone hyping up new rookies Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards I’ll take Renfrow at his current ADP and buy all shares of him in dynasty. Renfrow has a safe and secure place in the slot and could see a bump in targets from last season.
