Maybe it& #39;s just me, and maybe I& #39;m wrong, but a lot of us were all Googling who she was when she married Harry. If she had her own platform, (honestly!) good for her, that& #39;s awesome, I would love to see it... wherever it is. Or wasn& #39;t it deleted entirely before she wed Harry?
I think (IMO), for such an event, there are thousands of uber fantastic women in their own right that would better suit, for the lack of a better word. It& #39;s the "in their own right" bit that I& #39;m concerned with, as I believe it& #39;s her association which is getting her the place.
Ask a young woman who Meghan is, and they& #39;ll automatically place and associate her achievements with Harry.
Harry and Meghan. Meghan and Harry.
It& #39;s "them", not "her".
And that& #39;s fine, but perhaps misplaced at such an event to empower a young women as the sole, whole unit.

I can think of loads of impressive, independently successful boss ladies, from an artist, to an author, to an annoyingly marvellous stuntwoman, whom - I gather - never waited or wanted for a prince to clinch it for them.
Those are the women deserve to be elevated on that stage.

*the women THAT deserve...
Been watching too much french drama.
