largely the most bothersome thing about ignis shipping is that SO MUCH of it is based on aesthetic. it has nothing to do with his character and everything to do with how horny he makes a certain person. and that's BAD if your horny leads you to think "he should be with a woman

having preferences is good and all but if you're looking at a gay character with a clear love interest and thinking "hmm i'm going to change that actually" maybe examine. why ?
