To spread the virus effectively. With November 3 fast approaching Trump needs a more efficient way to spread the virus much faster, and much more broadly through the population. Schools are the answer.

If Trump can cause schools to open widely the virus will invade every corner of our population in no more than a couple of weeks. Daily case counts in excess of 100,000 with daily fatalities of 3,000 or more will cement terror in our lives.

With a running total of more than 10,000,000 cases, every hospital beyond capacity, shortages of everything, fatalities in excess of 350,000 are you going to be willing to stand in line to vote?

There will be no need for intervention from Russia or China. The MAGA crowd will show up of course. Vote by mail? Who will be brave enough to operate the USPS if they somehow manage to continue fund it. Will anyone be brave enough to work polling places?
