I find that there is very few things in life as enjoyable and rewarding as collecting music. There is a always community out there waiting for you to join in and share your discoveries and experiences too. Records come and go quickly. It's great to keep them alive forever.
The real MVP's of the dance music scene (imo) are very rarely the top tier DJ's. They're mostly salesmen
The real heads are the diggers, archivists, bedroom guys who post mixes, flyer collectors, tape pack rippers, youtube uploaders, discogs contributers, web radio guys etc.

Once you tap into that world you're never going to reach the end of the information there is to absorb. You'll find tunes from 25 years ago that might change your life. Hear sets that were such amazing pivotal moments in the timeline just sitting there online for you to vibe on.
Later on this week I will post a list of links and twit/insta accounts that blow my mind on the regular. Kinda like how websites used to have a "links" page. To kick it off though, one person I would definitely recommend you get to know is @philextreme
