I’m going to start a thread showing off my old diecast race cars. Mostly 1:64th scale, most well used. Did you own any of these? Up first, the Lake Speed Bud Moore Quality Care Ford number 15. #nascar
Bonus 1st day diecast: the one I always used for myself when doing my pretend races in the living room. The Burroughs Motorsports Joltage Batteries 12v. Won many a race in this one lol.
One more for tonight. As an adult I would clear an aisle at @OlliesOutlet if they got diecasts. Here’s a @paultracy3 Geico 15 which I think was KV Racing.
The Cale Yarborough owned Phillips 66 car. Not sure why the owner is on the driver name...but I guess that marketed better than Jimmy Hensley.
This is one of the first toys I ever got. This was a McDonald’s happy meal give away. 4 yr old me was FRIGGIN PISSED that this wasn’t a Brett Bodine proper number 26. I guess they didn’t want to pay Kenny Bernstein?
The Joe Nemechek 41 Meineke car owned by Larry Hedrick. I don’t remember how I got this one but I always could tell the “adult” diecasts by the rubber tires and interior work.
I have a small handful of dirt “big block” modifieds 1/64th scale diecasts. They used to be in their own division on my living room speedway. This one is Brett Hearn’s from the early 90s.
The Todd Bodine Factory Stores of America number 75 for Butch Mock. I distinctly remember getting this car at the mall before my PM Kindergarten class...and hating not being able to play with it until after school.
I’m sure everyone’s got some Dale Earnhardt, but here’s my primary one from my childhood.
Only had this one a few years but it’s one of my favorites. The John Andretti Window World 43 he raced at Indy. I don’t remember the specifics of Petty’s involvement but this operation made my heart smile. #checkitforandretti #RIPAndretti
One of my only Jeff Gordon cars. So weird seeing Coca-Cola on the 24.
The late great Dan Wheldon from his time with Panther Racing.
The Jim Sauter number 89 Evinrude car for the Mueller Brothers.
Little detour into cars that are “me.” I had some custom diecasts made of my iRacing cars. Here’s my most successful car, the Class B Champion car from 2013.
My Class C truck that won my first NASCAR style races on iRacing.
Modeled after my original iRacing IndyCar.
The cup car where I won a full length Daytona 400 mile night race.
And finally the hauler for the Cup Car
A Robby Gordon self owned Speed Energy number 7. Think I got this 1:24 scale for like $5 on his site when the Cup team was closing up shop.
One of the many DogeCoin collectibles from this awesome time in #NASCAR history. How many of you helped sponsor @Josh_Wise and @philparsons98?
I have a couple helmets made too. This is my miniature one, which I assume started life as an Andretti IndyCar helmet.
