Tate, you are wrong. You assume you are finding every “case.” You aren’t... not even close. You are discounting T-cell immunity and mucosal IgA antibodies which you cannot easily test for that contributes to herd immunity and probably most of it. https://twitter.com/tatereeves/status/1282783825219682304
Most areas have seen saturation at 15-20% seroprevalence in the world. Why do we think we will be different? Your math is full of faulty assumptions. I’ll be happy to meet and discuss this with you as a physician. Nobel laureate @MLevitt_NP2013 has done amazing work on this.
You would be wise to listen to other very smart physicians and scientists who do not share this herd immunity view that you just posted. Its patently false and a myth. T-cell studies have demonstrated up to 80% of individuals have pre-existing immunity to this virus.
That would well explain the seroprevalence saturation point at 15-20% we have seen worldwide.
Other factors are involved as well. The immune system is far more complex than antibodies. Ppl telling you different are ill-informed and should read up on the most recent publications.
Has Dr. Dobbs mentioned T-cell immunity? Has anyone who is advising you? If you haven’t heard about it yet, you need a more broad scientific community of advisors.
It is also well demonstrated worldwide that deaths on average are 500-600 per million population. MS will likely be somewhat higher due to a large population of high risk individuals. This figure also debunks your “math” that is only as good as it’s faulty assumptions.
