I am totally irritated by people who say Feminists can't be Christians.

Many of us belongs to tribes that have deep misogynistic cultures, do we then stop identifying with those tribes because they have misogynistic elements?
Nigeria has really sexist laws, should we stop being Nigerians because of those discriminatory law?

One can be a Christian/Feminist and speak against sexism/misogyny while trying to make room for equality in Christan spaces.
Calling religious Feminists clowns and jokers is not a smart thing to do if we're looking to start a sex equality revolution in Nigeria.

We HAVE to bring equality into religion. We can't have women believing that they have to throw religion/God away to believe in equality.
I once felt like I HAD to choose between being a Feminist a Christian that I was thrown into serious confusion.
I picked Feminism but I wasn't at peace because I still believed in Jesus, I decided one day to not listen to people who say I had to pick.
I chose both.
And while I know that it would require me picking and choosing the parts of the Bible to follow, I have no problem with that at all.

All Christians pick and choose, it is impossible to follow all the teachings in the Bible.
Rather than trying to push religious Feminists away, perhaps we should talk about bringing Feminism into religion.

We should strive to reform religion until the slightest sexism in religious spaces is not even okay.
