I was 4 years old when my Grandfather told me to own the word Tinker, walk tall and proud. He said never look down on anyone or up to anyone. My family taught me to know, love, respect myself and others. Traveller Pride has been an act of resistance. 1/3

2/3 We celebrate it, for all those gone before us, for ourselves and for those to come.We achieved momentous gains within our own community.Womens rights, LGBTQ rights, Disability rights.We've a long way to go internally. Nobody or nothing will bring us back. Lives depend on that
