the one and only. naan is flatbread made of maida and slow cooked in tandoori or over pan and butter chicken is a super rich accompaniment that has smoked chicken, along with lots of butter, aromatic spices, its own color and spiciness !

19. palak paneer

palak paneer is made of spinach and hence, the green color. it's staple to eat with chapathi (wheat flatbreads) and rotis, it tastes a bit bitter but with all the other spices, you won't even feel it! sometimes fresh cream is also added for richness <3

payasam is a staple final course in meals, and it's made of condensed milk, vermicelli, ghee, cardamom, almonds, dry fruits, cashews, and sometimes even tapioca pearls <3 it's super rich and diabetes inducing hehe but super nice to finish meals w !!

and to finish my thread, here's the south asian version of an ice cream! kulfis are made of heavy cream, milk, saffron, almonds, pistachios and more altered to fit tastes !! they're so SO SO SO YUM

mizo dish which is smoked pork prepared with mushrooms, spinach, and pork in oyster sauce and ginger-garlic paste! it's super nice for a rainy day and cold days <3

manipuri speciality! made with unique ingredients such as lotus stem, unripe papaya, beans and banana flower, non vegetarians and vegetarians alike love it !

masoor tenga (meaning sour fish) is served all over assam - from a home-cooked lunch to a festive feast! it is made with very little spices but a lot of lime and ridge gourd, best enjoyed with steamed rice <3

jadoh is meghalaya's signature dish! it is red rice, cooked with generous amounts of pork meat. sometimes, it is also cooked with chicken or fish. a mix of green chillies, onions, ginger, turmeric, black pepper and bay leaves is also added <3

y'all know what it is đŸ˜”âœŠđŸŸ samosas are stuffed, triangle shaped dough that are deep fried !! the stuffing can vary with everyone's taste but is usually made with potato masala, but non-veg versions of it also exist. served w chutneys !!

carrot (gajar) halwa

it's a carrot based dessert and it's made from condensed milk, ghee, nuts and that deep orange color is so appetizing !! they usually serve this at weddings with ice creams and it's so good <3

kuzhi paniyaram / paddu

a very south indian dish and it's eaten on the regular! it's made in special utensils (which have deep mounds called kuzhi in tamil) and is flavored dal batter with kari leaves, chillis, onions, but can be made sweet too <3 served w chutneys !!
