I have to start with finishing this draft.
Advantages: I have two previously published novels. I am white, young(ish), and healthy. I have a computer at home and a phone with some internet. I am currently employed. I have 12k words already written.
Disadvantages: I am a single mom living below the poverty line, with three kids (one special needs). I work over 40 hours a week. There’s a pandemic? I am writing in a new genre. I left my previous agent, so I have to start from scratch.

7/13: I have the google doc open during my ten hour workday at a truss fabrication plant. On top of my regular duties, I am trying to get the plant certified so I can ask for a raise. (I make $16.50/hr—they only give raises for new skills, no COLA/time)
