Selling through DM’s

It’s one of the best and easiest ways to make money with affiliate marketing if done right

I made over $1,000 with it and the first sale with only 14 followers

There are only 3 ways I use to contact or make people contact me through DM’s

These are the only ones you’ll need

1. Send a DM to your new followers

2. Post a promotional tweet were you encourage people to DM you

3. After reading someone’s tweet you send a DM with remarks
1. Send a DM to your new followers

You can send a DM to all your new followers

But I only keep it to people I think I can help/ sell to

Your first DM can NEVER be a link to a product you sell

It could happen once in a while that you get a sale

But trust me, don’t do it...
Let’s talk about the first message you send

It all comes down to this one

If you don’t get an answer you won’t get a sale either

It’s that easy

So what do you send?

Something I always send is that I appreciate the follow

And I recommend you to do the same
The second thing I always include in my DM

Is the content I tweet about and what they can expect from me

The goals I’ve with Twitter, ...
The rest will be different from person to person

It depends on what you promote

If you want to help with Twitter growth

You can ask what their goal is with Twitter

If you want to sell a product about affiliate marketing

Ask if they want to monetize Twitter

And so on...
To give you some inspiration, here is a DM from me

“Hey

I saw you followed me and wanted to send you a message to thank you for that.

My goal is to help others and learn from others.

I talk about mindset and money.

What about you?

Hope you have an amazing day!“
Note that you won’t always get an answer

That’s life and you just need to move on

There are more then enough chances

The bigger you grow

The more followers you’ll get

The more opportunities you’ll get

The more sales you’ll make

2. Post a promotional tweet were you encourage people to DM you

It’s all explained in the the title already

Every DM you get now will be from people who are interested in what you sell

Now it’s up to you to make them buy it

3. After reading someone’s tweet you send a DM with remarks

I’m not sure if that’s possible for everyone/for every product

But every time I read a promotional tweet I try to search for some ‘mistakes’

And then I send those remarks to the creator
If you’re selling a product about Twitter growth

Something you can do is send a remark about how they tweet/ comment

You can give them some tips on how to do it better
If you’re selling a product about stocks

And someone tweets about a stock they bought

You could send some remarks you’ve about it

And so on...

I’m sure you can find a way to make it work
Those 3 different DM methods now lead to one thing: ‘How to sell’

First of all you need to create a relationship with your potential prospect

And promote the right product to the right person
What does this mean?

It means that each person will have a different set of pain points and different goals

If the person you're talking to is struggling with growing their Twitter account

Sell them a product that will help with their Twitter Growth
If the person is struggling with affiliate marketing

Sell them a product related to affiliate marketing

And the list goes on

So how do you do this?
You do this by building a relationship before you try to sell anything

Ask questions to the person, try to understand exactly what they're looking for

Build trust by creating relatability

Show the process you’ve been through

Show that you were in his/her shoes once
People rarely buy features

People sometimes buy benefits

People will always buy emotions

This is what you want to create

You want to create an emotional response and follow along with it

Once you found the emotional respons

You need to focus on that idea when selling
Think about what you are trying to sell and ask yourself these questions:

– What’s the emotional context of your customer?

– How does your customer feel before they experience your product?

– How do you want your customer to feel after they have used your product?
– What does your customer care about?

– What is the change they are hoping for?

– How will your product help your customer
become more of who they want to be?

In the end, everyone is trying to be better versions of themselves
At this point you should have gotten your prospect hooked and interested

Now it’s not that hard to close the sale
Now you bring all the rest

You talk about results, show proof, testimonials, ratings, everything you think of

You talk about the benefits the product has to offer, how it will benefit your client.

You do this right and you've got your sale in the bag
You won’t be able to sell to some people

But if you follow these steps consistently I’m sure you’ll be able to close much more sales
