I've been seeing many twts about +×+ changing their concept into dark concept, so I have no choice but to step in although no one will actually see this post still I will try to explain ya'll that +×+'s didn't actually changed their concept or whatsoever.
First of all +×+'s concept is dark to begin with, although their mv is full of colors and having an up beat music still their are some little details that shows some not dark but dark fantasy, also the lyrics says it all, it's just that people won't look up to the lyrics--

I dont wanna make long thread so let me just summarize everything.
Dark concept doesn't have to be chains and dark surroundings, because in reality most of the people who's actually suffering are the people who's actually bright on the outside,

And being dark is something that is kept deep inside, it is something that is hideous and unoticable, +×+ is using the concept dark fantasy in a unique way that makes it more relatable,
+×+ tackles many issues by the use of their music and the main point of it is friendship, it something that most of us at a really young age mostly in the teenage years suffered and it can be considered as a dark part of being a teenager,
Dark concept can be explained in various ways not only by the word itself dark, not only by the meaning of the word dark.
