I'm writing a piece for Medium about David Silverstone AKA @DavidAGStone & need to pause here & make a public service announcement- David is a dangerous, predatory individual who has been on my radar for quite some time, however I was not prepared for the extent of his depravity.

So far it appears that David sent private messages to at least 20 different women & girls during the 8 month period he's been active on Twitter. Those messages range from mildly suggestive to sexually explicit, with recipients ranging in age from 15-22. Silverstone is 23 himself

At least 4 women were targeted by Silverstone while in support groups for SA survivors he moderated. 2 of those targeted through support groups were sent flirtatious overtures in response to video's made at Silverstone's request, where he asked survivors to bare their souls

Those who try to explain this away as "innocent flirting" need to realize the context in which these videos were filmed- at David's urgent request- was highly emotional & not romantic in any way. They were a portrayal of real, collective trauma we experienced as women & survivors

David Silverstone treated this display of trauma and supportive messaging as a video dating service, and at times seems almost titilated by displays of emotional anguish-bringing to mind the kind of man who makes you cry, just so he can tell you "aw, you look pretty when you cry"

David tries to portray himself as a champion of survivors, a victim of his neurodivergence- in reality his predatory behavior reveals a sophistication that makes it clear his actions are deliberate- he is seeking out the vulnerable like gazelle, especially when they are wounded

Want some evidence? Look no further than David's creepy comments towards a victim of stalking

David can offer "safety" to this victim, in exchange for her cuddles and hugs.

He offers "cuddles and hugs" to 15 year old girls as well

This isn't sweetness & light, it's grooming

To be frank David is just a piece of shit and I'm angry on behalf of Lauren ( @produce_zero) Talia & others named & unnamed who have been targeted by this vile individual. If you meet that criteria & would like to share your story please DM me, or email me [email protected]

Fuck you David & don't blame this on being on the spectrum. You operated with deliberateness & intent. You targeted survivors & underage girls. You groomed them. You knew exactly what you were doing. I hear you're about to work for Space X?
