I am Grey Lazaro, a 19-year old girl from the Philippines.

Last July 9, 2020, my life was pretty normal, I am in our home and living my ordinary life just like any other day.

The next day, I decided to tell my mother about something I have been so secretive and sensitive about—my sexuality. I came out to my mother as a bisexual female. I didn't hesitate about telling her because she's my mom, and I always knew that she got me.

But as soon as I told her that I like both girls and boys, she started to curse at me and told me really offensive and disrespectful things. She is a really conservative and religious woman, and to her, being bisexual is a mortal sin.

As I was trying to explain myself and to calm her down, she forced me to leave the house and never come back again.

She threw my clothes and other stuff outside so I had to take time to pick them up and pack them in my bags. I called several friends and family where I can—

stay at for a while but because of the COVID-19 situation in the Philippines, I can't even go to their place. I also tried contacting some relatives on social media but most of them blocked me—my mom might have told them I came out as bi, and they might be despising me as well.

I am staying now at my friend's house's garage at the same city and I might leave soon because I don't have any money to buy food and supplies and her parents aren't really willing to accommodate me.

I started this fundraiser to help myself buy food and other necessities and

also to find a place I can rent. I am also looking for online jobs that can support me as I figure things out by myself.
