About that issue, Im not defending him but I just want to add my opinion. In Korea, there are almost no one who know whole lyrics of the song. We can hear that song in many veritey shows as a bgm when food come out. And most Korean just know that curry part including me.

‘Yummy curry song’ that’s all what Korean know about that song. Maybe no one associate ‘india’ with that song when they humming. I also never thought what shanti means. It just sounds like humming to Korean.
I know it’s rly ashamed and I learend I need to be cautious more.

And there are little possibility he watched that mv. I heard that part very often but never watched that before.
Once again, Im not defending him, as an celebrity who affect many ppl, of course he needs to be cautious in every situation.

But I just saw some templetes using very aggresive words in Korean, hope something wrong could be fixed and choose right word. We know, Wonwoo was care about that cultural difference when he knew about that.

He will be more cautious from now on. I know Ignorance is not excuse, but Im sure he sang that part because he didn’t know what that means.
