Saif's character Gautham is introduced as an unapologetic flirt. He proclaims he does a boring software job, but he seeks immense pleasure in wooing women he likes. Typical Imtiaz's humor in the initial scenes, I think this revisit is gonna be exciting.

Meera is as-referred by her estranged husband as "thrid-world" is typical homely, nice gharonda, who gets cheated by an asshole. Again, Saif's character interaction with Meera is funny af. I think Imtiaz Ali is unparalleled as a dialogue writer as of now.

Who tf is #Veronica? And I guess none could evade her enchanting charm. Okay, this Tweet is dedicated to the damn effing introduction of Veronica. And Deepika, man. Why so beautiful?

"I can hear sitars playin'" and stuff. Again Typical Imtiaz Ali's intended PUN. Veronica becomes the guardian (oops!) to the orphaned Meera. And Gautham Kapoor is busy wooing his boss and look at lines, dude. "Do you believe in Love at first sight or should I come again?"

Now you people get the dynamic of Veronica and Meera? The love they share. Love, dude.

I'm loving each n every dialogue in the film. It is too funny, I'm not exaggerating a bit. Especially, Gautham's lines are top-notch af. Saif has killed it, Simply. And Cocktail drama begins with Meera being calm and serene, Veronica being the enigma and Gautam being d cool-one!

The way Boman Irani says, Behenji Ab toh Patloon pehn lijiye! ROFL, man. I watched the film twice earlier, but never enjoyed it this way. The Cocktail drama wit is extraordinary. Woohoo, this is turning out to be a cool revisit. Yes!!

"Teri Smile, Are Waah. Social Service hai." I wish I could note down all these dialogues, bro. They are effing awesome. And Gautham is leaned towards Meera now, probably she is also almost into Gautham. Let's see the game of Veronica now. Haha!

Tum hi ho Bandhu - Not a single morning in the late-half of 2012 had passed without playing this song in MP3, and going for a morning walk. Ah. Those were the days where was no stress or anxiety about anything in the world. Such naivete never comes back, I guess.

The Twist in the tale - Veeru Paaji zehn mein Bhi Gautham paaji hi baitein hai. Yaar, ab karein?! I until now felt that the second half of the film could've been a litter or better, I'm sort of immersed in the story now. Have to see how gratifying it will turn out!

This dialogue is extremely relatable. Exactly, 24 hours back, while writing a thread abt 96, I thought I was in love (unrequited, yes), and its the most beautiful feeling ever. Now, I'm finding effing ways to effing move on, exploding inside, outside, & all sides! Agh.

I respect and regard Imtiaz Ali for a lifetime because his characters are both real and surreal. Veeru Paaji agrees in a shock Gautham confesses that he is love with Meera, but reality hits her soon and the turbulence, the explosion befalls. Brilliant performance by Deepika.

I officially declare that I'm in Love with Veeru Paaji. Heck, the world.

The separation. Veronica becomes something that she wasn't. She attempts to behave normally, becomes extremely possessive, and messes with her beautiful friendship. So, Imtiaz wants to say that Love could ruin the friendship. Right.

The film, though it is stretched a bit more than required, it is well-thought. Veronica's anguish doesn't extend for a prolonged time. I mean to the melodrama is much under control, yet, I feel the screenplay could've been better as the intrigue is almost absent.

Focus, That's what I didn't have. - Jo bhi main kehna chaahoon, barbad kare alfaaz mere.

These broken sentences of Imtiaz Ali don't for sure barbad the emotions, magar they add some poetic sophistication to the romance.

So, that's the end of the story. Gautham gets back his focus, and that's Meera. And the friendship/companionship of Veeru Paaji and Meera continues!
